I've used Bunch several times and each time the item was correctly described with excellent photos and pick up was easy. It would be helpful to use the Live Auction site to pay. I found I needed to call their office to pay over the phone... it just adds another step.

I am very disappointed that the description of this piece completely skipped over the fact that it is actually a thermometer (or was), though it is larger than most of this type. They included the fact that there were chips to the slate so if you are going to note that sort of physical damage (which was very small and of little issue) why wouldn't you point out that a significant aspect of the piece is completely missing... the thermometer? I probably would not have bid as much if I had known that this wasn't just an obelisk, but rather an incomplete thermometer whose value is affected by this missing aspect.

I get it that I missed several emails with the invoice. Unfortunately, the email account I use for this account gets hundreds of emails per day. I also had a number of personal issues at the time. Not their problem. I get that. However, when I called to resolve they were extremely rude and said they not longer had a couple lamps that were $100 total with their exorbitant commission. I was disappointed as I wanted the lamps, but understood their position. But, being nasty about it was completely unnecessary. I went to make a bid on LiveAuctioneer almost three months later and find my account is suspended due to this auction house and am told I need to call them to resolve. I do. Again, I’m met with nastiness from Laurie and her supervisor Ashley. I listened to Ashley lament about how much trouble auctions are and their time into it. I said I understand. So, to “resolve” I asked if she wanted me to pay for her time and trouble which I assume would have been $25. She refused to resolve and then had the audacity to state that I MUST owe others money since my account was suspended. I have bought many items on LiveAuctioneers and everything I have ever bid on has been paid always. The auction house appears riddled with financial and internal issues.

I certainly will go to them again when looking for interesting things.

I like Bunch's supply of vintage and antique pieces. I don't preview items but think that is a good idea as a past pencil post bed buy has a loose connection due to no bed bolts. My latest purchase of a mahogany chest of drawers was a good buy, and is absolutely beautiful after a couple coats of oil. The employees are nice and helpful-both office and back room workers.

These folks know how to take care of their customers. They are very efficient in the processing of end of auction transactions. Helpful if you should have questions and offer super nice items for auction. Can't go wrong with dealing with them.
