I had to sign an awful lot of paperwork from both Montgomery and the shipper for a $10 item. I've bought expensive items for a lot less trouble. I had to call my computer help desk and make all sorts of adjustments to deal with their signature forms. The item itself is fine and a good value.

Montgomery was very efficient sending the invoice and shipping information. They were also very efficient sending all acknowledgements and receipts. The same for the UPS store they use-very efficient. Also, item was exactly as pictured-very good color representation.

This is an auction company that deliberately concealed the conditions. I asked the auction company about the conditions. his reply was that there was a line at the bottom, but there was also a long line in the bottle. he didn't say, and at the beginning he said the freight was 200 us dollars. later, the cheapest transportation company he offered was 371 us dollars, and the packaging was very simple.

"AS PICTURED" is not a a proper description

The item was marked silver from the 1980s being sold as old Chinese jade/silver. I have complained to Montgomery and to Liveauctions. Neither seem that interested in selling items that are misrepresented. Had there not been a clear silver mark, with a makers name, we could discuss the idea that it was a matter of opinion as to what the item was. Had they photographed the silver mark anyone could have looked it up-it took me 2 minutes to know that I had been conned into buying a USD 500 item for USD 1, 400. This is in the private review section at the moment but it will go to the public if Montgomery and Liveauctions continue to ignore my complaint.

The auction house failed to complete the transaction after buyer had successfully bidden. Their auctions are cheat!

Everyone did a wonderful job and I highly recommend the auction house.

I think the premium they charged seems higher a bit. They should provide more clear photos for customers.

When I called to check on the status of my item the auction house was not sure where it was, or whether it was still with the consignor. Shipping was about the slowest I have experienced.
