The Hudson gallery made pick up easy once the pick up location is reached, a little off the beaten path initially, but easily accessible for subsequent trips. Phone inquiries were promptly dealt with

Joanne is trying to contact the Consigner for keys. I never saw anything about my Rock-Ola 488 Vista Jukebox having no keys. So I don't know if it contains any records or leftover coins. I was able to "possibly" order the right key on Ebay to open the front door to see records, if the original lock wasn't changed. The lockbox key however is unavailable so I will either have to carefully break into it OR truck the whole machine 50 miles away to a competent locksmith. All the Auction said was "works" well ok the lights work but no way could the operation of the jukebox be judged. Auction should reveal the deficiencies of items. Mike

I picked up my items in person and the staff were very friendly!!! They even helped to my car!! The items I purchased were exactly as described!!! The cost was reasonable and the auction was done quickly!! Thank you for everything!!

While I am well aware all items are sold AS IS, there was no attempt to even advise the working condition of the item or not at the high asking price. The item was received fully non-operational with body and lens totally seized. This was a total loss.

I purchased a Vienna Bronze at a recent auction and had a wonderfully easy experience when compared to other auction houses. Prompt shipping and communications. Will buy from again.

I purchased an item listed as an oil painting. It is a print. After winning the auction, I researched the artist more than I had prior to bidding and found multiple copies, prints of the same “painting” being sold online. I then told the auction house this and expressed my concern that it is not an “oil” as it was listed as. They responded that it is an oil painting. They then sent it to a shipper without my authorization. Not knowing what to do and already being out $350 + I paid an additional $100 to have it shipped with the hope that I was wrong and that this professional auction house was correct. When the “painting” arrived it was very easy to see in person that it is a print, a copy and not an oil as it was listed and confirmed. I then wrote to the auction house stating basically what I just said above. They responded asking if I was the buyer. That is an odd question so I responded that “yes, I’m the buyer you duped.” Their response, “your attitude is awful.” And that is where the situation presently is. I incurred almost $500 expense for a fake painting and after complaining am told “my attitude is awful.” I did not reciprocate the insult and instead said I want my money back. No response. I have purchased 65 items on Live Auctioneers and this is the first experience of this kind I have dealt with. I therefore strongly recommend giving business to other auction houses.
