Auctions at Showplace holds auctions every two weeks featuring luxury items, fine art, design, jewelry, and antiques from private estates and collections in the New York City Metropolitan area. We aim to make bidding as easy, accessible and enjoyable as possible.

Auctions at Showplace has been one of the best experience through Live Auctioneers. They provided timely communication throughout the process and were very helpful in recommending shippers. Extremely pleased with the shipper I selected, Manhattan Express. They handled everything from pickup to shipping with tracking at a very reasonable cost, no gouging. Was kept informed of the status throughout the delivery process. My glass paperweight arrived in perfect condition. Would not hesitate to bid at this auction house.

I DID NOT LIKE IT: . Bad description. Pink pearls, size smaller than indicated. Pendant with obvious wear, the shine on the coral has disappeared. The photo shows red coral. In fact, it is dirty (worn out) coral.

Although the auction house doesn't provide in house shipping they were very helpful and after providing them with a label they packed and shipped my item and saved me money. I would definitely purchase again.

Don't Forget to Ask for a Condition Statement
No knock on auction house.... my fault for not asking for a condition statement. It was laziness on my part..... the item wasn't that expensive and I depended on the photos. The photos were good enough to show some drip residue on the painting, but when I received the painting, it was obvious that it had been in a smoker's home. The whites are very dark and discolored which wasn't so noticeable on the auction photos. My bad. So let my experience reinforce the sage advice to ask questions before you buy! I was very happy with "The Packengers" who picked up and shipped the painting. For this good size painting, it cost $125 to ship from NY to CA. It arrived safely.
