There is a little guesswork figuring out size. One item is excellent but smaller than hoped.

I highly recommend Easterly. They offer great items, represented as advertised. They offer in-house shipping, which eliminates trying to find shipping companies in strange towns-besides, I'm lazy and prefer the path of least resistance. Also, shipping costs are VERY reasonable, which is important when items are being shipped across the country. The items were carefully packed, delicate items in their own small boxes. My box weighed about 15 pounds, and they shipped for about $45.00, which included packing materials and labor. My items arrived in perfect condition. My only issue: Easterly is so popular with bidders that it's difficult to nab a bargain. Still, hope springs eternal, and I would definitely bid again at Easterly.:)

Received broken item (2 were fine, 1 broken in packing-not shipping. The outer box and three inner boxes were in fine condition-broken when delicate piece placed between two crumpled up plastic bags inside smaller box). Sent email, told to fill out form, filled out form-and no response. I have tried to contact them and shipping company-no response and no help at all. Fortunately only $40 item (plus fees and shipping) so no big loss, but it's frustrating and it will stop me from bidding in future. Certainly not with Easterly Auction Company.

Minerals available for auction were well above average. Response to a question was rapid and helpful. All purchased items were well packaged and shipped rapidly. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience and look forward to Easterly's next mineral auction.
