It's hard to find trust this days, especially when you come to an auction. When you hear a word auction, one thing comes to mind, the last guy standing, takes the prize. It's not the case when you bid at V. N. Collectibles, you can be dicarted if you are the only one bidding, you can be outbid by some goats that refused taking that item after auction ha been closed. At the end, same item keeps appearing as if there is a set price for it that auction people are the only ones that know. After a while, you start avoiding their lots...

Buyers beware! The Chanel bag from this auction was ostensibly a fake. It was shipped in a cardboard “Chanel” box with a sticker in Chinese. The script under the Chanel logo on the box reads: “substances are known to be carcinogenic in humans.” When I first reached out to the auctioneer he claimed that the consignor attested to the bag’s authenticity. Really? The leather was coarse and the package was flagrantly fake. The seller tried to further insult my intelligence saying that some Chanel’s packaging are made in China! In addition, the shipping service the seller recommended was none other than himself. Hence the item was shipped in-house, yet I was charged a pick-up fee. I’d paid over $100 for shipping of a “fully insured” counterfeit. Trying to get a refund was like pulling teeth. I regretted paying via Zelle for both the item and shipping. Getting a refund was like pulling teeth. It’s rather suspicious that a business owner’s Zelle limit was only $500/day. I also requested a refund for the original shipping cost, and this seller’s reply was to “contact the shipping department”! Another shady facade, since I’d remitted the shipping payment to the same name as the seller. Presently this seller is not responding to my shipping refund request. The worst part of all this was my Time wasted. I highly recommend all buyers paying via Zelle only to trusted auction houses (with whom you’ve done business). I now have no recourse but to report this seller to the WA state Attorney General’s office, since knowingly selling a fake is a crime on both federal and state level. Again, beware!

V. N. Collectible is an excellent auction house to work with. Their payment terms are generous and they always respond in a timely manner regarding any questions. The shipping was very professional. Highly recommend! A + + + +!!!!

I like this auction house for the items they have. Still a bit frustrating with payment (used to a 1 click option for payment), and the tracking thru Canada Post is ok at best.

My item arrived in good condition and looked very similar to the online photos (shipping was arranged through a third party provided by the auctioneer and was fairly reasonable). Everyone was very responsive. While I do think a lot of their valuations are too high, there are still some great deals to be had. I'll be confident purchasing through them again and would overall recommend.

These items were the second time I made a purchase from VN. The items are great, and the descriptions are spot on. The take the time to be exact when bidding. I have zero issues on the items they sell. I'm still a bit wary of the payment process and shipping. There is no autopay via credit card. I only pay by credit card. You have to print an authorization and print your payment info and then send it to them.... OK.. a bit odd for an auction house. The shipping is my only concern. They list the auction house in the US but everything comes out of Canada so the shipping is always International. My items were 4 pieces of paper maybe weighing 4 ounces. My shipping quotes were $102 US or $42 US. I have friends who own UPS stores, etc. and they say that is a red flag. I wound up paying the $42 and I received my documents in a small bubble envelope. It was very well packed and sturdy for what I needed. Also, they only communicate via e-mail... no phone number which is odd. Nonetheless, the items are great but the international shipping cost and the lack of speaking to a live person sends up a red flag for me. I hope they improve the process moving forward.

It's hard to evaluate this auction house. The item was as described, the price was great and they were responsive to my questions. A few issues.... My invoice had a charge on their called "International" Taxes? I could be wrong about the verbiage. When I called, they said it was a mistake and they would take it off the invoice. On a subsequent call and invoice, the "International" charge should up again but it was about 1.2 the cost. I called \ e-mailed and they responded quickly and told me to just pay the invoice and they would manually adjust it. There was no icon to hit for payment.... OK... if you use a credit card, you have to fill out a form and e-mail the info back to them which is to me, is not the norm with an auction house. I did send it back, the invoice did not have the credit, but the charge was correct. The shipping was a bit excessive for a basic "Fed Ex type envelope but most auction houses run the cost of shipping up to make more money. I did get a link for delivery and my item came very fast. It was packaged well. The only other" flag "was that there is no physical address. The" shipping "came from Canada, while the auction house is in the US. Is it the same people who have dual citizenship or friends that do the shipping? It's a bit odd. I read all the reviews before I bid at the auction and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt.... there was a lot of dissatisfied customers. I rated them a 5 based on the item, it's accurate description and the speed of shipping. It was very good. Draw your own conclusions about the rest.
