Deceptive Images & Description
The images shown in listing and images sent after request because I thought it had some damage we not good and unabated to tell item had damage. They confirmed via email that radio had no damage but they were wrong. Quick to send invoice to receive payment...... terrible at responding to shipping questions after payment received. Think twice before bidding on items they sell.

Thank you for your feedback and we regret any dissatisfaction with your purchase. Additionally, we were quite surprised to receive this review. As you may recall, there was significant communication (at least 16 exchanges) prior to your purchase which included 25 detailed images. As we work very hard to provide accurate condition reports, we were certainly unaware of any additional issues. Finally, regarding shipping, your item was shipped within three days of receiving payment, the confirmation of which was emailed directly to you the day the item was shipped. Please know that, with this being said, we regret any dissatisfaction and appreciate your feedback.

Customer Service from Gallery was Nonexistent
I won this painting on November 2. I waited and received the invoice within 2 days. You were to pay through Pay Pal to which I don’t have an account. I then called the Gallery for the next 6 consecutive days always getting the same female voice mail. I explained I didn’t have Pay Pal but wanted to pay the Gallery directly. With all of these voice mails, I became more and more frustrated because no one ever called me back. I’m brand new to auctions, am an art collector and always like to connect with the Gallery should I want to ask a question or find out a little more history. It also gives me an opportunity to make notes about galleries who are congenial to work with for the future. Finally, I became so annoyed that I pushed the Pay Pal button and it allowed you to pay as a guest with your credit card. I did so and then waited a couple of days and then started calling the Gallery again, getting the same voice mail, saying I paid for the painting and what carrier and tracking number would be provided me as far as it coming to me in Los Angeles from NY State. Again, no return calls and then wondered if this was some scam or what. In complete frustration, I contacted the Help Line at Live Auctioneers, explained in detail the story and asked them to intercede. They acknowledged my email, I assume intervened and a few days ago, the painting arrived. True to the entire experience, it just showed up my door and at no time have I ever gotten any communication from Winfield Gallery. It isn’t about the timing but rather the reckless and unnecessary state of limbo a consumer was left in. I not only would never buy or recommend this Gallery to friends but I’m in the Entertainment Industry in both Los Angeles and New York and will make my story clear to all those I know who buy on Live Auctioneers. We regret any frustration during your first experience with online auctions and are deeply concerned with your comments. According to the auction records, all invoices, to include yours, were issued within 5 hours of the auction closing. Additionally, we show two further communications prior to payment and your item being shipped within 3 days of payment receipt. Further, immediately upon your item being shipped, a confirmation email was issued by UPS with the expected delivery date and tracking information. Finally, your single email to us was immediately responded to with a follow up voice conversation. Please know that, with this being said, we sincerely regret any perceived lack of communication and hope that you consider participating in future online auctions.

Great service! Was in contact with a few hours of auction close. A rep from the auction house calked me the following business day and was very nice and helpful. My item arrived sooner than expected in fantastic shape. Even the drivers were courteous. Looks forward to purchasing again!
