By choice, you paid for the shipping of a large package to a . That decision is completely out of our hands. Maybe the 2 stars belongs to USPS, but ultimately the cost of an item does not determine shipping costs. Size, weight, location, and the choice of carrier determines the shipping costs. Bob is the owner of Artemis Gallery. He originally claimed that he bid by mistake. Then he changed his story and stated that the item was fake. Considering he is the owner of a large auction gallery, it is ridiculous in our opinion that A. he bid on something by mistake (when there is a two step process to bid onliveauctioneers.com) and B. he attempted to register in our most recent sale and bid again on more items! We explained our warranty policy and that he had 30 days to have the item reviewed by a known expert. He then claimed that he was the expert. We explained that this wouldn't suffice. The item came from an actual published archaeologist and of the 30 + artifacts we sold for her, this is the only one that anyone had an issue with. To add insult to injury, he filed a claim and got his money back, kept the object, and wrote us a 1 star review.
