The item I purchased was marketed as an authentic 18-19th century painting but was a picture heat pressed on a wooden slab. Be careful when purchasing from them as you will likely buy a fraudulent work being passed off as the real thing.

These were not accurately described. They were advertised as pen and ink drawings however they were not. They were prints. Only one or two were signed in pencil (they were prints, too... not originals.

i feel very cheated by this auction house and their in-house shipper "ShippingTec". i was charged $75 (initially told it was $85) to ship this tiny pendant cross to me. it could have been sent in a letter satchel. and to say they ship in-house was a big lie. the shipping company they give the work to could have sent it much cheaper. if they do the in-house shipping for lots of items they dont need to make a special trip to collect items. i thought the auction house was very deceptive with the use of "in-house" shipping. i am very unhappy. i will never buy from this auction house again. they also deliberately under-estimated the estimates (by factor of 10 or more) to attract bidders. i have never complained about someone onlveauctioneers.com before. i will never trust anyone again after this. they have done themselves a disservice and all other auctioneers onLA.com. i remain disgusted and angry.

Enjoyable experience and happy with items purchased from Antique Arena. Would highly recommend Paul at ProPack shipping as he went above and beyond to package delicate items.

I purchased two items and one of the items a ornate and delicate tiny picture frame was in pieces when I got it. This had abviously been glued before which I had to do. It would of been nice that this was disclossed prior to me bidding on it

There are so many counterfeiters out there of these type things, especially the Polish Jewelers who are experts at it and do a real good job duplicating monograms and such. I suspected these were real deal though, having seen other of the same, taken from Hitler's residences. I took a chance and I am happy. I bid a day of a hurricane and picked them up rather inexpensively. I will never be certain but fairly sure these are genuine.
