Item, amazingly, better than described
I had thought the item was bigger than it turned out to be, which was a real break, since the smaller size meant it was more useful for what I needed it for. So, I'm quite happy!

Payment was difficult, in-house packing and shipping expensive
Their in house shipping and packing fees are rather high, which is fine for fragile expensive artwork, but exorbitant for a few craft items. I was extremely frustrated by the payment process and their lack of response. They don't use zelle, and they require verification via signwell, which I could not get to work. Since this didn't work, I paid the extra cash and just paid Live Auctioneers directly. Still, no response from them. Finally, after several attempts at emailing, two phone calls resulted in them releasing my package to UPS. Unfortunately the items arrived too late for me to give them to my friends who were only in the USA briefly. Overall I was frustrated by their lack of communication and they seemed to be in disarray.

Everything is usually great, till it isn't
Frustrated. I received my pottery pieces just fine, but when I ran one under a little water to clean it before displaying it, pieces chipped off, showing a repair was done, but hidden. I have no idea who knew over there, and it might have just been a surprise to us both, but this was kind of an expensive vase and now, it's showing damage that was pretty well hidden till I discovered that cleaning it took off fresh paint. My issue is the stalling with the communication. I have sent photos, and tried to reach someone, anyone who can help and I just keep getting told that they are reviewing it and someone will get back to me... and no one does. No follow thru, and it feels like they are waiting for me to go away. Very disappointing.

As explained by email earlier today, this is an unfortunate review for us to receive from you given how hard we have worked on the transaction. First, you paid your invoice almost 6 weeks after the auction, but we did not "ding" your bidder account with negative feedback. Instead, we shipped your items right away via FedEx. You received the package on December 10, and only notified us on February 3 that one of the items had what you claim to be a "repair that washed off under running tap water". This item was reviewed by an outside third party as a part of our condition reports prior to auction, and neither he, nor our catalog staff or photographer, have any notes about a repair. The photos show nothing that would indicate there was any problem with the piece. Art pottery is routinely examined under blacklight for condition reports-and the third-party expert who conducted the condition report recorded that it was in "excellent condition." Now, a new bidder who has bid with us for the first time notifies us TWO MONTHS after receiving a piece to claim that a chip in the rim was because of a "repair that washed off under running tap water"? The delay in replying to you was simply our team scratching our heads and investigating to see if there was any way we missed something, but I cannot find any evidence of that. Instead, I believe you chipped the vase in handling it, and are now fabricating a reason to make us take it back-including threats of negative reviews. We maintain excellent relationships with our fellow auction houses, and I am hopeful that our negative experience will save them from similar experiences with an irresponsible and unreasonable bidder who seems prone to use blackmail to force auction houses to take back her mistakes.

Awesome Auction House
As an out of state buyer it was a pleasure to work with Amelia Jeffers, Auctioneers & Appraisers. Their invoicing, payment, and shipping processes were all top-notch! When I called with a minor question the office staff was amazing with their willingness to help and kindness in answering my question. Packed to Perfection
Auction House Staff was incredibly helpful and polite when I called with questions ss this was my first time bidding with them & I am a State away, so pickup was not possible. Due to value and fragility of items I was concerned with inadequate packaging and the potential of it breaking. They assured extra packaging and insurance. It was flawless and i am so happy & Thankful!

Easy purchase
Amelia Jeffers auction was great … a model for other auction houses. The invoice came quickly and the shipping was seamless. I love in-house shipping! My only hesitation to bid with them again is the buyers premium was high.

I'm picky, this Auction House was a wonderful experience ALL around. I'm a 50-yr collector and of diverse pieces and I'm using auctions 3-6 times per month, I'm unfortunetly used to auction houses feable attempts to communictae, to add added items and info. to descriptions, and last but not the least, most auctions still force you todeal with everythign from contacting a pack & shipper in a unknown city, deal with thme picking up and quoting an increased price as many times they have you over the barrel and the auction house have washed their hands as the items gone so, they're done Some auctions are beginning to use Live Auctioneers quoting and handling for pack & ships, that's in it's infancy but making progress and leading bidders to those aucitons because of this new option. Whether or not they use Live Auctioneers reference, quotation, or not, some auctions handle things start to finish and they know how important communication and updates are to the Buyers. This was my 1st interaction with Amelia Jeffers, Auctioneers & Appraisers, but they communicated throughout and made the shipping and tracking process an excellent experience. I highly recommend them as this experience was greatly appreciated. Thank you

Updated review
I originally gave them a lower review due to poorly packing the comic books I won from them. I changed it because this is the first and only auction house I've had this problem with who actually asked how to prevent it in the future rather then blame someone else or deny it. I will 100 % give them a second chance for that alone. I respect anyone who admits their mistakes and tries to make it right.
