We purchased five paintings from them. We received them in a timely manor and communication was good. One painting was listed as oil and is not and another was much dirtier than the picture revealed.

I bought by picture a month and a half ago. They sent me an email saying they would get the shipping price. They never did. I emailed THEM multiple times to ask what it was so I could pay it. They said it was in the shipping queue. It was. To someone else in Virginia. They said they were sorry about the mixup and would send me a much cheaper picture unless I really wanted the one I won. They said they would get it for me. Then, Christie said that was impossible because the shipping was too high. They never asked me. She did say that they felt bad and hoped I would bid with them again. I asked her, "Are you kidding me?" I have bought hundreds of items from LA, and this is a first. She got really mad at me for giving them a bad review because this was only the first problem I had with them. I am not coming back for a second problem. Unbelievable. They dragged this out for a month and a half. I guess they were hoping I would just forget about it. You really have to watch these auction companies. It's no skin off their back if you do not get your items. Sometimes I think they hope you will forget about it so they can sell it again. Maybe they did this as a favor to one of their customers? Who knows? I know I will NEVER do business with them again.
