Despite the best efforts of Mrs. Anne, the company was unable to allow me to pick up the item in question while visiting Brooklyn at the right time even when I offered to accommodate their timing convenience. Similarly the packing of the item was done in a haphazard and careless manner which contributed to the damage of it. No, there was no exterior damage to the package by the carrier, the damage was the result of poor packaging. I have read some similar comments by others for the exact difficulties of dealing with SJ Auctioneers and based on my actual experience with them (save for Mrs. Anne's fruitless efforts) I would strongly recommend to avoid dealing with this house.

I'm still new to the auction experience, and I have to say that I very pleased with the item variety and process. It was so easy!! I love the items that I've purchased via the auction, and will definitely buy again from this auction hourse

Beware, this auctioneer is horrible to deal with. They refused to let me pick up. They shipped FedEx, and Fedex lost the package. Auctioneer refused to file a claim, stating it’s my responsibility to file a claim, not the auctioneer. Fedex will not allow me to file a claim. Auctioneer has been paid as well as Fedex and they they both are fine with me having nothing and I’m supposed to be happy about that and go away.

Item as advertised, would buy through this auction site again.

I'd never bid on any item with SJ Auctioneers. I saw that they had some vintage wooden dolls, and bid on them and won. They even contacted me about one of the lots that was won by another bidder. But that bidder was not permitted to bid on any of their items, so I was offered the lot which I accepted. Very quick shipment at a reasonable cost.
