Prehistoric and Historic Artifact Auction

We are pleased to offer the lifetime collection of Guy Ragusa. Guy collected for over 50 years and amassed a varied collection of fine relics. Many of his Axes and Celts are in this sale. Guy's collection of West Coast artifacts includes fine Obsidian points and several quality hardstone pieces. We are also continuing the dispersal of Dr. Joe Otten's midwestern flint collection. There are many fine Lost Lakes, Pinetrees and Dovetails in this offering. This auction will be the second and final offering of John Davidson's collection. A number of fine Pipes and and Bannerstones from Davidson collection will be sold. Don't overlook the large selection of Crib Mound artifacts (Spencer County, IN) in this sale. Many pieces were found by Buddy (Ed) Scheidegger. We'll be selling the largest group of Crib Mound Cache Blades in decades - 36 total. We are very pleased to feature the Hayden Cache. This wonderful cache containing six Marksville Culture Breast Plates will be sold as one lot. Truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. Many of the items in this auction have been pictured in archaeological books and journals. Over 150 items come with evaluations from independent, nationally recognized authenticators. Sale highlights include Gilbert Dilley's Porphyry Birdstone, a well documented Double Crescent Bannerstone and several pottery masterpieces once in Roy Hathcock's collection. Buddy Scheidegger's finest Lost Lake and his centerpiece Dovetail are included in this sale as well. Don't miss this fine prehistoric artifact offering.
