This auction consists of over 200 lots of fine chess sets, antique games, playing cards, and associated rare books and papers. Items include an 18th century Russian Kholomogory walrus ivory chess set, (£6000-8000); a 17th Century Indian ivory inlaid chess board (£3000-4000), and Greco's "The Royall Game of Chesse-Play", published in 1656 (£2000-3000).
