Hudson Valley Auctioneers will open the fall season on Monday September 18th at 5:00 PM. with a two session multi estate auction of fresh to the market estate lots with Mid Century furniture and accessories scattered throughout the sale. Makers and designers include H Probber, P. McCobb, Bertoia, Knoll, Herman Miller, K. Lavergne, Toffolini, Widdicomb, P. Evans, A. Aalto, Bruton, Dunbar, Gibbons, Sapporitti,, Hans Olleswn, Saarinen, Westnofa, and several others. Over 1000 ounces of silver are in the auction with lots of exceptional hollowware and many flatware services including a large Puiforcat "Royal" pattern set as well as several exceptional chased pieces. A large .800 silver flatware service and a fine .800 teaset and tray, American coin plus lots of Continental silver are interspersed with Tiffany, Fisher, Gorham and other American makers. A collection of French and American World War posters as well as some travel and other entertainment examples are sold in several groups throughout session one. Several bronzes are included in the early going with artists Le Nantec, A. Daby, G. Colin. represented. From the Dinsmore family Hudson River mansion razed in 1941 and stored since comes several pieces vintage luggage; L.
