Friday, January 19th at 6:30 pm Friday features a collection of vintage Texas Long Horn furniture including a settee, arm chair, coffee table and foot stool, an Eastman Kodak sliding carriage portrait camera and a Wooton style carved walnut fold out desk. Also a fine collection of mid-century modern furniture by George Nelson for Herman Miller. Jewelry items including a pair of 1.46 ct emerald and diamond dangle earrings, a pair of 14kt yellow gold oval cufflinks and a sapphire and diamond wreath pin. A Heinrich T H Heberlein Jr. violin, c1928 and two violin bows one by E. Martin Sacksen a European Pernambuco and an after Voirin, European Pernambuco, early 20th c. Various Persian and Indo-Persian runners and mats. Also a beautiful Bakhtieri hand woven wool rug, 10? x 13?. A fine collection of Detroit Press Club art works which were contributed to the club from well-known comic and print artists from various newspapers around the country. Also a continuation of the collection of Disney and Warner Brothers animation cells and concept drawings (40) lots. Firearms including: a German Mauser C-96 (broom handle) semi-automatic pistol, a Colt Model 1911 .45 cal semiautomatic, c1918, a Nagant Russian 7.62x38mm revolver, 1941, a Colt single action army, .44 cal revolver, c1878 and a Le Protector 6mm French palm pistol, circa the late 1800?s. Bladed weapons including a WWII German Luftwaffe dress dagger with a Bakelite wire wrapped hilt and eagle guard and a German WWI Prussian Pickelhaube helmet of hard black leather with spike and interior liner. Decorative items including Gorham ?Melrose? pattern Sterling silver flatware, an Unger Brothers coffee set and Chinese Cloisonne items. Finally crystal and glassware including Daum Nancy, Murano and an Art Deco and slag glass and bronzed metal dresser lamp.
