Furniture & Decorative Arts Premier Auction

With a wide variety of modern furniture, fine art, and decorative items, Stefek's Auctioneers & Appraisers' Furniture and Decorative Arts Premier Auction features must-have items for every collection. Mid-century modern furniture pieces include a burl wood sideboard designed by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin, a Pierre Cardin bedroom set, a set of four Gastone Rinaldi for RIMA dining chairs, and an Executive Arm Chair designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. Our selection of artwork includes two serigraphs by Victor Vasarely, an oil on panel still life by Sarkis Sarkisian, and a mixed media painting entitled "Jester" by Richard Jerzy. Presented works on paper include a collection of Polish "Cyrk" posters, two double-sided pencil and ink studies by Abraham Bloemaert, and several Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock prints by Hiroshi Yoshida, Hiratsuka Un'Ichi, Yôsai Kuniteru II, and more. Two books signed by Andy Warhol will also be presented. Highlighted decorative items include a Tapio Wirkkala for Venini "Bolle" vase, multiple Steuben crystal works, and assorted porcelain comprising of majolica-ware, Meissen, and Wedgwood. Featured sterling silver including a Tiffany & Co. "Queen Anne" four-piece tea set, and a Gorham Sterling "Chantilly" silverware set will be offered as well.
