The auctioneers reserve the right to make verbal corrections and provide additional information from the block at the time of sale. All trains are sold as untested and are not guaranteed to run. - The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the auctioneers shall have absolute discretion as to who was the successful bidder or he may re-offer the disputed item for sale, if he so wishes. Please be aware that because of the bidding system that ebay uses, you can lose a lot for the amount you have bid. If the auctioneer accepts a bid from an attending bidder or phone bidder before the internet bid, even if it is for the same amount, the item will sell to the attending bidder. Also, Lloyd Ralston Gallery has absolutely no access to your internet bid until it comes up on the screen as the item is being auctioned. We cannot manipulate or run your bid. Ebay only supplies your bids next increment as it is needed. - Internet bidders must pay in full within 15 days of receiving your e-mail invoice. If, as an internet bidder, you have no intention of paying for any lots purchased, please don't bid. You will receive an unpaid item strike and a negative feedback for each item purchased and be denied approval to bid in an auction in the future. - The auctioneers will accept a US Money Order for US dollars, a US check for US dollars, a Western Union money transfer, an international Moneygram, Paypal, or a credit card paid directly to us (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express) as payment of each purchaser's account. There is a 19% Buyer's Premium. The buyer's premium is a fee charged to the buyer on each lot that is purchased. This fee exists because we are a bricks and mortar company that sells items taken in on consignment - we do not own the items for sale. We charge the owner a fee for selling the items for them just as we charge the buyer. The buyer's premium is arrived at by factoring in the fees charged to us by ebay, Live Auctioneers, Paypal and our credit card service. - Internet bidders who live in Connecticut are subject to the Connecticut 6% sales tax unless the bidder possesses a Sales Tax Exemption Number from any US state. - All sales are final. There will be no refunds issued beyond 30 days after the auction. We pay our consignors 30 days after the auction which means that if you have a legitimate problem with an item, you must let us know beforehand. Please bear this in mind when bidding on and paying for any items. Internet bid refunds will be at the discretion of the auctioneers. Refunds will not be given because of the condition of the original box. In the case of a refund due because of damage during shipping, the buyer will be refunded only when the auctioneers have been reimbursed by the professional shipping company. - Invoices for US buyers will be sent by e-mail to internet bidders the Monday after the auction. It will contain the lot numbers purchased and the amount due with buyer's premium and shipping. The shipping fee for US buyers will be an estimate of postage and insurance and a $5 handling fee per box - not per lot purchased. We will pack as many lots as is reasonable in a box. We ship UPS ground. Also, we ship items out in a first-pay first-ship basis. We strive to get everyone's purchases to them as soon as possible, but we cannot guarantee that you will shipped immediately upon receiving payment. - International buyers will receive an acknowledgement from us on the Monday after the sale. We send a complete invoice with shipping fees after we have packed the parcel to get an exact mailing fee. There is a $5 handling fee per parcel - not per lot purchased. We pack as many lots as possible in a parcel. So you are only charged whatever the US postal service charges for your parcel according to your instructions and the $5 handling fee. - Bidding on any item indicates your acceptance of these conditions. - The auctioneers are not responsible for typographical errors or omissions. - The computer bidding process is not a perfect one. While we endeavor to execute the internet bidding as perfectly as possible, we are not responsible for missed internet bids caused by computer slowness or other variables. Also, please bear in mind that we are a bricks and mortar company running a live auction with attending bidders. This is not a typical ebay listed auction and doesn't work as one. LLOYD RALSTON GALLERY, Inc. guarantees the toys they sell, but cannot be responsible for interior repairs not visible without taking the toy apart or exact replacement parts created by contemporary craftsmen who are doing expert undetectable restorations. Missing pieces of toys and games not obvious without directions or knowledge of the toy or game are also not part of this guarantee. It must be understood that we cannot be responsible for minor age defects or hidden conditions. They will be sold in an "as is" condition. Original boxes were used to protect the items inside, so they are usually worn. The original box is not included in the grading of the toy. An original box described as "rough" should be considered as in very poor & distressed condition and may or may not be complete. It must be understood that toys were played with by children. Consequently, when a toy is graded C1, it has more flaws, such as rust, dents, worn tires, etc., than toys graded C6. However, the toys graded C6 might have these flaws also, but to a lesser degree. We do not grade a toy based on its rarity.
