139. Auction - Silver, Watches & Sculptures

The silver section starts with a large centerpiece in the form of a trunk on which a doe rests. For the eccentric piece at least 1800 ? are expected (lot 770). Followed by a splendidly preserved Austrian Besammintower from 1862 (lot 771, limit 2200 ?). Another showpiece is a gilded Rococo lidded cup with a tenant stamp by Julien Alaterre (1768-1774) (lot 776, limit 7500 ?). Even earlier, the Augsburg snake skin cup dates from around 1685 and starts at ? 1400 (lot 845).
