badge TOP RATED
The June 3rd Art & Design auction features an exceptional collection of European Art Nouveau glass built over 30 years by a Los Angeles couple, including rare and early works by Emile Galle. A trio of original Joan Miro paintings from the 1950's should draw serious interest worldwide. The paintings were liquidated by the Denver Art Museum in 1954 and were consigned by the daughter of the original owner, along with a very unusual Tiffany paperweight lamp. In that vein of American Art Nouveau, this sale contains a fine selection of Tiffany lamps, Tiffany glass, and rare Tiffany & Co. silver and mixed metal pieces. Numerous pieces of American and European ceramics are also available. In all there are nearly 400 lots of decorative objects. Preview will be held at Treadway located at 2029 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45208 with the auction being held at 2007 Madison Road beginning at Noon on Sunday, June 3rd. Preview dates: May 26th thru June 2nd, 9am-5pm or by appointment. Floor, phone, absentee and Liveauctioneer bidding will be offered. As they have since their beginning in 1980, Treadway guarantees everything they sell so bidders can be confident in buying.
