Stefek's Auctioneers & Appraisers' Art, Décor, and Collectible Spring Auction features an assortment of designer furniture, fine and decorative arts, silver, and jewelry. Select designed furniture pieces include a William Doezema & Bernhard Rohne credenza and dining suite, a set of six Oxford chairs by Arne Jacobsen, a Paul Frankl for Johnson Furniture cork top coffee table, a set of eight Eva dining chairs by Niels Koefoed, a Russel Wright for Conant Ball coffee table, and a Paul McCobb Planner Group cabinet with bookcase and separate buffet cabinet. Our spring auction presents an array of paintings and drawings, including multiple contemporary works by Greg Sobran, Lars-Birger Sponberg, Sally Gauger Jensen, and Wayne Deutsch. Included is a Marc Chagall etching and aquatint, a Hermanus Bogman oil on canvas, an Edward Norton Ward oil on canvas, and a Douglas Arthur Teed oil on panel. Sculptural works include a stoneware pot by Karen Karnes, a painted bronze sculpture by Stephen LaGattuta, and a soapstone and wood sculpture by Clarence P. Cameron. Highlights of our silver and jewelry pieces include a 14k yellow gold and diamond engagement ring, a 1.2 ct diamond and yellow gold solitaire ring, an Antonio Pineda 970 silver jewelry suite, a 22k yellow gold & Turkey Kurush coin bracelet, and a set of Henry Birks & Sons "Georgian" silverware. Decorative items of note include a pair of Blackamoor floor candelabras, a Fulvio Bianconi for Venini "A Fasce" glass bowl, assorted Steuben glass works, and a Brent Kee Young art glass vase. There will be several rugs for offer, including a Navajo Teec Nos Pos rug, and an Edward Fields design. Stefek's will also be presenting a collection of antique firearms, including a Remington Whitmore 1874 combination rifle shotgun, a cased Massachusetts Arms Maynard carbine rifle shotgun, and a D.M. LeFever side cocking hammerless shotgun.
