SCOTTS VALLEY, CALIF. - On Sunday, July 29th, Robert Slawinski Auctioneers will host a Major California Estates Auction comprised of over 400 lots of fine antiques sourced from the local Bay Area. Featuring a large collection of paintings, fine estate jewelry, 18th and 19th century French furniture, décor, and clocks, mid-century modern furniture, and much more, the auction will begin at 11 am (PST) at 1500 Green Hills Road, Suite 100.
This auction will feature a large selection of fine artwork, including an oil on wood by Romeo Tabuena (1921-2015) dated 1956, an oil on canvas by Benjamin Palencia Perez (1894-1980), and an oil on canvas by Willy Sluiter (1873-1949). Other highlights in artwork include pieces by Victor Mytteis (1874-1936), Paul Volger (1852-1904), Ferdinand Burgdorff (1881-1975), Saul Raskin (1878-1966), and six original works by Paul Jacoulet (1896-1960). A lithograph by Joan Miro (1893-1983) will also be offered, accompanied by a C.O.A.
Highlights in fine jewelry include: a men?s 3.71ct diamond set in a platinum and 18kt gold ring; a 1.85ct diamond set in an 18kt yellow gold pendant, adorned with seventy-three accenting diamonds weighing 1.31cttw; a 1.70ct old mine cut diamond 14kt white gold ring; three Cartier channel set diamond rings; pieces by Lalique France, including a pendant, a pair of earrings, and a bracelet; pieces by designers including David Yurman and Tiffany & Co., and many more vintage estate pieces.
A Louis XV period bronze shelf clock headlines the selection of French décor, along with French clocks from the 19th century. Bronze candelabras, marble top furniture, and a Limoges painted plaque are among other fine French antiques to be offered.
