Jewellery includes ladies diamond and other gem set gold rings, diamond set brooches, antique gold chains and gold bracelets, gold lockets, antique gold brooches, bangles and earrings, ladies and gents gold fob watches and wristwatches etc. Jewellery also includes silver pocket watches and watch chains, silver Vesta cases, silver chains, silver charm and other bracelets, silver bangles, silver lockets, silver rings etc. Silverware, includes candlesticks, tea service, tea and coffee pots, bowls, jugs, sugar casters, salts, comport, casket, various cutlery etc. Ceramics include Royal Worcester, Clarice Cliff etc. Sale also includes other collectibles. Session 2: Wednesday 23rd May 2007, 12.30pm BST (British Summer Time). Comprising 412 lots of ancient Greek and Roman coins, English and world gold, silver and base metal coins, including proof coins and sets, tokens and medallions, medals and militaria, banknotes, postage stamps and stamped covers, cigarette and trade cards, postcards and paper ephemera. Coins include two Valentinian I gold solidii, Charles I gold unite, gold guineas, gold Louis, Roman Republican and Imperial denarii, George III proof twopence, 1797 etc. Banknotes include Bank of England, Manchester Branch, Nairne GBP100 notes, 1911 (2) and Nairne GBP50 note, 1913 and collection of Austrian notgeld. Stamps include GB penny red imperforate strip of nine (unused) and five complete sheets of GB, George VI Silver Wedding 1949 GBP1 stamps.
