New Orleans Auction Galleries welcomes you to our October 13-14 Major Estates Auction, featuring property descended in the estate of John Dilman D'Arcy Paul of Baltimore, Maryland and the Estate of Mary Elizabeth Tahir of New Orleans, Louisiana. Offerings include a recently re-discovered portrait by Sir Thomas Gainsborough, an important collection of English silver, with pieces by Paul de Lamerie, Paul Storr and others, French furniture by Grohe Freres and a fine collection of jewelry including watches by Bulgari, Rolex, Patek-Philippe, Baume & Mercier and Cartier. The selection of fine art will feature a good selection Impressionist and Modern Art, including works by Jean Dufy, Maximilien Luce and Leonard Tsuguharu Faujita, and contemporary Russian artists Tatiana Nazarenko, Grigory Gluckmann, David Davidovich Burliuk and Leonid Sokov.
