Over a period of almost 40 years the German photographer Michael Ruetz acquired a comprehensive collection of works by fellow German photographers from the 1950s-1980s as well as a wide selection of international photographic literature. The prints offered in this auction are often of unusual size and high quality. Also of note are the 31 photographic works by the German photographer Heinz Hajek-Halke (1898 - 1983) whose estate Prof. Ruetz has managed over the last 30 years.
