Annual Fall American Art Pottery Auction

Day One of our Fourth Annual Fall American Art Pottery Auction will be highlighted by the David & Georgene Pipkorn Collection of ceramic birds, which includes one of the most extensive groupings of Stangl birds to be offered on the open market in years. Also included in the collection are Stangl animals and birds by Pennsbury, Gort and European manufacturers. In addition to this fine collection, the auction will include pottery by Hull, Marblehead, UND School of Mines, Hampshire, Van Briggle, Haeger, Ephraim, Door, Tim Eberhardt and more. A very nice selection of Southern (N. & S. Carolina, Georgia) pottery will also be offered. Day Two of our Fourth Annual Fall American Art Pottery Auction will be highlighted by Part I of the Gordon & Sue Hoppe Collection. Having collected Roseville for many years, the Hoppes have chosen to include approximately 200 pieces from their personal collection in this auction. Additionally, this day's auction will include nearly 300 other lots of primarily Ohio pottery including an additional 150+ pieces of Roseville, 35+ lots of Rookwood including production and artist signed pieces, 40+ lots of Weller including a terrific Scenic Hudson by Pillsbury as well as examples of Owens, McCoy, Wisecarver, Cowan, Robinson Ransbottom, Brush and more.
