Friday’s session of the auction features a large assortment of Royal Doulton figurines. A large 5 ct. marquis diamond and platinum ring plus a jewelry collection from a local estate; A large assortment of Lionel Trains and accessories. Numerous pieces of fine china, artwork and furniture. Also includes and extensive collection of Corgi die cast toy street cars and busses, including a Sunstar “Routemaster†RM254, 1/24 scale London Transport Bus. Saturday’s sale features a pair of Richard Klemm Dresden porcelain vases, additional German and Austrain porcelain figures, bronze and marble sculptures, Boehm and Royal Doulton figures, including the “Femme Fatales†series, over 40 lots, from the Estate of Phyllis Kotwick, Birmingham. And from various private collectors: Georgian silver salvers and candlesticks by John Carter, Eben. Coker, and John Quantock; a Tiffany & Co. sterling flatware service in the “Flemish†pattern; Gorham sterling tea & coffee set; Tiffany favrile glass vases; a collection of Loetz art glass and early 20th century cut glass; a Daum china dinner service with coordinating crystal-handled flatware; Japanese woodblock prints; a Fernando Vichi carved marble bust; bronze sculptures by Alice Riordan. Fine arts offerings include: oil paintings by Moses Soyer, Julien Dupre, Edward William John Hopley, John Orne Johnson Frost, Cesare Auguste Detti, Cornelius Wouter Bouter, J. Ward, Jacques Voyet, Arnold Marc Gorter, Edward Potthast as well as and important c. 1860 unsigned New York figural street scene; watercolors by Sir Jacob Epstein, John Hoyland and John Ross Key; graphics by Pierre August Renoir, Charles Sorlier after Marc Chagall, Andy Warhol, John Lennon, Joan Miro, Romare Bearden and Pablo Picasso and personal photo albums from the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Furniture is highlighted by a Joseph Cremer inlaid Second Empire rosewood sideboard, a pair of Eliel Saarinen chairs.
