Fall Favorites: Silver, Pottery, Mid-Century

Stefek's Fall Favorites auction presents a variety of sterling silver items, porcelain and pottery, and new selections of mid-century modern finds. Featured sterling pieces include a Tiffany & Co., "English King" eighty-eight piece set of sterling silverware designed by Charles Grosjean, a Tiffany & Co. sterling silver candle centerpiece bowl, and a pair of Juventino Lopez Reyes sterling silver Rococo-style candelabra. A variety of sterling silver silverware sets will be presented from the studios of Gorham, Reed & Barton, Towle, and Stieff. A pair of screenprints by Richard Estes, "Flughafen" and "Lakewood Mall" from his "Urban Landscapes III" collection will be on offer, as well as an Ellsworth Kelly screenprint, "Untitled (Blue, Yellow, Red)." Two etchings by Salvador Dali are included, as well as a work by Giovanni Vetere and other paintings by Le Pho, Michel-Henry, and Andre Gisson. New selections in mid-century furniture include a Poul Kjarholm candelabrum, custom designed for the home of respected textile designer Ruth Adler Schnee, a Paul McCobb Symmetric Group lounge chair, a Vejle Stole-og Mobelfabrik designed teak dining table, a set of six Scandinavia Woodworks Co. teak dining chairs, and a modular set of benches by the Otto Gerdau Company. Several lots of early Roseville "Donatello" pottery are featured in this auction, comprised of plant stands, jardinieres, an umbrella stand, and few small pieces.
