Oakridge is pleased to present its first summer 2020 auction, ?From Drawing Room to Battlefield: Fine Art & Antiques of the 18th-21st Century,? on June 27, 2020 beginning at 10 am EDT.
Featured in this auction are a selective range of decorative art and silver, fine art works by a multitude of noteworthy artists, and an array of militaria and battlefield relics from the American Civil War (1860-1865) and the American Indian Wars (1609-1924). Among the highlight lots are works by the German porcelain factory Meissen and Austrian crystal manufacturer Swarovski, as well as a sculpture by contemporary Chinese artist Ren Si-Hong and paintings by 19th century British master Joseph Mallard William Turner, RA and American 20th century painter Paul Starrett Samples.
Oakridge invites bidders to participate in the auction online as well as by telephone and absentee bidding. Appointments to view the exhibition for the auction may be made with our front office beginning June 8, 2020 and requests for additional photography or videography will continue to be accommodated.
