Signature House presents over 1200 lots closing in two sessions. Collectors may choose from a worthy selection of vintage to contemporary historical autographs, documents, manuscripts, images and related collectibles in all categories to fit budgets large or small. Most sought after are the Signers of the Declaration of Independence and Presidents from Washington to George Bush. In this offering we also have a document penned by Daniel Boone; Civil War generals and personalities and war-date material. Of special note is an important rare Lincoln signed document relative to the Act of 1863 instituting the first American military draft; also an original 1891 flag that was used during the reburial ceremonies of revered Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. Other important notables from Horatio Nelson and Napoleon to George S. Patton, Jr., cover a wide military selection. A rare handwritten letter by Mary Queen of Scots leads our heads of state category, plus American political and judicial notables. Original material from leading science and technology notables to aviation and space pioneers are offered. We have antique engravings to world-renowned artists and illustrators, including an original Disney sketch of Mickey Mouse. A wide variety of important classical and popular musical notables include composer Richard Wagner and a vintage signed photo of The Beatles. Significant in our Entertainment category are movie props and wardrobe memorabilia including the iconic fedora worn by "Indy" in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, a cape worn by George Reeves in the original Superman television series and a robe worn by Marlon Brando in the 1978 Superman film blockbuster. A large selection of antiquarian, signed vintage and contemporary First Editions and other literary autographs are featured. A Babe Ruth signed baseball tops our listing of vintage sports stars. From single lots to archives, we have autographs and memorabilia sure to please.
