600 Lot Fine Antiques Single Owner Collection

WELCOME BACK FRIENDS !! We have a large, single owner collection of amazing and beautiful antiques, all curated by a single Fullerton, California antique dealer, Mr. Christian Gerola. Mr. Gerola developed a passion for antiques and began collecting at a young age, inheriting the passion from family members. This love of antiques grew and his main collecting interests appeared to be Early American Press Glass, with his favorite being Thousand Eye by Adams Glass and Richard & Hartley; but he also had acquired other nice collections of Rookwood, Doulton Lambeth and more fine glass and porcelain pieces. You will find a very large collection of beautiful Herend porcelain, with a massive collection of "Queen Victoria" dinnerware, including many serving pieces, which he started buying in 1972. Christian also had an eye for fine art, particularly California Plein Air paintings and collected California artists with names like Paul Conner, Walt Lee, Carl Roessler and more. For you jewelry lovers, there are some amazing cameos, gold pocket watches and many more beautiful jewelry items to choose from. The son of an Italian immigrant, Christian was born in California, and was a long time resident of Fullerton for 66 years. He was be a lifelong collector of antiques and collectibles and even opened a small shop in Fullerton called, "Farm Bell Antiques". Most of his collection is pre 1925, he loved his Victorian but collected much more, too.
