On Thursday, March 3 at 10:30 a.m. (Eastern Time) Swann Galleries will conduct sale 2035, American Prints from the Keith Sheridan Collection, which span the first half of the 20th century. Sheridan, an accomplished graphic designer and passionate art collector and dealer, amassed a fine collection of regionalist, social realist, urban/industrial, African-American and modernist images, with a diverse range of works from the WPA era. ======================================= On Thursday, March 10 at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) Swann Galleries will conduct sale 2036, 19th & 20th Century Prints & Drawings. This large sale includes a section of Important Prints and Drawings from the James Heald Collection, with some 150 works by such artists as Bellows, Benton, Dehner, Kent, Lazzell, Margolies, Matulka, Riggs, Spruance, Wengenroth and Zorach. Other highlights include drawings by Forain, Gleizes, Marcoussis and Picasso. Also of note is a group of early drawings by Charles White.
