Session I: The Former Collection of Art Historian and Lecturer Robert Allen, New York, with many items as featured in a 1982 edition of Architectural Digest: The Collectors.

Session II: Fine Art, Decorative Art and Collectibles

Caza is excited to host an auction of a variety of collecting areas. We lead off with a number of items collected by noted art historian and collector Robert Allen, who was featured in the 1982 edition of Architectural Digest's "The Collectors" book, with his Manhattan apartment (once owned by J.P. Morgan) and its furnishings.  Also included in this session is fine jewelry and couture collected by both Allen and family descendents. Some notable examples are a superb terra cotta bust by Jean-Jeacques Caffieri (1725-1792), a grand and detailed Italian 18th century Capriccio, and a large and impressive Old Master subject with geese.   In the next session, a private collection of sporting cards and collectibles will be offered, as well as stamps, toys, and other collectible objects.  In addition, a number of fine and decorative arts will be offered from regional collections.
