Caza's September Estates + Collections Auction presents over 400 lots from long curated collections and artists' estates, highlighted by: The lifelong collection of Carol and Robert Kane of Oxford, OH, by way of Grosse Pointe, MI and New York City, which includes two long-held and impeccably preserved examples from Irish landscape artist Paul Henry, as well as works by Chagall, Steinberg, Lichtenstein, Nourse, and so on. A substantial offering of work from the estate of American Watercolor Society artists Virginia and Sanford Brooks, to include many paintings from the artists, alongside a number of examples from the artists' inner circle of friends. A selection from the collection of Charles Cotterill, Maysville, KY, a well-known and respected dealer and collector whose interests spanned from folk to fine art to Americana. (The bulk of Mr. Cotteril's collection to be sold in our October sale).
