BIDDING When Absentee bidding, you may accept the current asking bid or enter a maximum bid value. No additional phone bids can be accepted after this time, including additions when speaking with a staff person. Once a phone bid has been placed, contact numbers cannot be changed. International bidders are responsible for entering appropriate country code and phone number. Placing a telephone bid indicates the bidder is willing to open the bidding at one half the low estimate. While we try to handle and store items with great care,Brandywine Valley Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to an item after the hammer has fallen.Brandywine Valley Auctions is not liable for any damages incurred if assistance with loading is requested. Once an item(s) has been paid for, we will place item(s) together for DAKS Global Logistics, LLC. to come over and pick-up items for packing and shipping at their building. LOADING Loading will be handled by DAKS Global Logistics, LLC. once the items have been paid for. Until that time, the items will be stored accordingly based on how many lots were won by a specific bidder. STORAGE Unless prior arrangements are made, payment within 5 business days, or a $5 per lot per day storage fee will be charged. ABANDONED PROPERTY Unless prior arrangements have been made, any lot(s) remaining at the Brandywine Valley Auctions more than 90 calendar days after the auction purchase date will be considered abandoned and no refunds will be given. Brandywine Valley Auctions is not obligated to notify the winning bidder of the abandoned lot(s). DISPUTES Any and all disputes resulting or arising in connection with this auction shall be heard in the County Court of Common Pleas of Chester County, Pennsylvania as the sole and exclusive venue. LEGAL INTERPRETATIONS This document will be interpreted by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania and by the United States Code.
