The sale is set to include a small collection of pocket watches including American Waltham coin silver open face enamel dial pocket watch, 19th century, gold filled hunter case pocket watch with P.S. Bartlett movement 19th century and many others. The collection of pocket watches was consigned by a descendant of the Frick family and we will continue offering it through the fall. As with all of our sales notable artwork will be offered including oil on canvas by Regis de Bouvier de Cachard (French/California 1929-), “Tramontane sur la Gudecca”, signed and titled, 1965. The sale will also offer a collection of jewelry featuring an 18K yellow gold compact with a gross weight of 120 grams; 14 K white and yellow gold belt buckles; 18K gold and sapphire necklace; 18K gold child’s bangle bracelet; 14K yellow gold snake link bracelet and several more lots of vintage and antique jewelry items. Just a little advance notice of our September Sales lots will include a Tiffany and Company Cigar box of 14k yellow gold weighing in at over 2 pounds along with several other Tiffany and Cartier lots. Sterling silver will also be prominent in the sale with a collection of Georgian silver including a London Sterling “Kings Pattern” flatware service; a superb Georgian vinegarette, monteith bowl, salts and money others. Notable artwork to be offered will include Bernard Buffet oil on canvas, red roses in vase; David Burliuk, oil on board, woman with cow; Harry Shokler, oil on canvas, Galway Farm, 1955; Franklin Benjamin Dehaven, NA, oil on canvas, country road with figure, 1890-1.
