CONDITION & DESCRIPTIONS: Typically at Uniques & Antiques Auction Sales biweekly estate auctions, all items are sold "as is" In our cataloged and live online auctions we modify this policy for 10 business days and guarantee all items in this catalog to be as described. Announcements and online additions during the day of auction take precedence over description in catalog and online listing. If we state facts about jewelry such as gold content or Weight, it is sold as fact. Carat weights and quality are approximate and to the best of our knowledge and may vary by appraiser. Measurements are in inches and are approximates but within reasonable margins. If we state that a painting is by or signed by "A Particular Artist", you may bid as if it is. If we note restoration, repair, damage, or defect to a piece in the catalog, look it over for yourself and bid accordingly. We try to picture damage in the online listings. Please ask for additional images of any damage you are unsure of. If there is a problem concerning condition, authorship, age, or originality you must return it within 10 days. After the 10 day period, all items are considered to have been sold "as is, where is": as is our usual policy. This 10 day policy applies to online purchases with one exception. In the case of the item being shipped: If the item is damaged or repaired, purchaser is required to notify Uniques & Antiques immediately upon receipt of shipped item. Acceptable notice is email, phone or fax. We will then arrange for return. Items are guaranteed as to authenticity for 10 days after receipt by purchaser. We must be notified by fax or email within 10 days of receipt in cases of authenticity. REGISTRATION: Buyers must register for a bidding number by giving name, address, phone number, and photo identification acceptable to us. Please show your bidding number to the auctioneer after each purchase you make. Online bidders must have a credit card on file with the prevailing online auction service. The highest bidder shall be the buyer and if any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneer shall decide the buyer or immediately put the item up for sale again. Some lots are offered subject to reserve, which is a confidential minimum price below which such a lot will not be sold. The record of sale, kept by the auctioneer and clerk, will be taken as absolute and final in all disputes. BUYER'S PREMIUM: A buyer's premium of 20% of the hammer price shall be added to each purchase to reach the total sales price. The total sales price is subject to applicable sales tax. Complete payment is required in cash(In House Only), acceptable check, Visa/Mastercard, or selected online payments (Paypal, Billpoint). In the case of online auction purchases, payment must be received within 7 business days. It is recommended that you use Overnight trackable method to make your payment. REMOVAL: Items purchased may be removed once payment is made. All items should be removed on the day of auction. Items are shipped within 5 days of receiving payment or clearance of check payment. SHIPPING: Items that are to be shipped will be subject to shipping and insurance charges. (See our shipping policy) These charges include insurance for the full purchase price, Packing, supplies and postage. Some items have fixed US shipping charges. Other items have variable charges depending on their bulk, and distance of travel. International shipping is expensive, please inquire about specific charges before bidding. ABSENTEE BIDS: We offer the absentee bid service as a convenience to our patrons. We execute your bid as if you were in the audience, attempting to obtain the item at the lowest price. Uniques & Antiques Inc will not be held responsible for error or failure to execute any bid. These bids must be in writing or submitted electronically. Please bid using our preset increments listed on the catalog front page. Please keep in mind that because bid position can be unpredictable, it may be possible for someone at the auction, or another absentee bidder to buy the item for your top bid price. Bids of the same value from two or more bidders will be awarded to the bidder who placed their bid earliest. The auctioneers decision is final. PERSONAL INFORMATION/ PRIVACY POLICY: We do not share our bidder information, addresses, email addresses or other personal information with anyone. We use your information to communicate with bidders regarding purchases and other auction business. By registering for this auction, we may put your email on our email notify list.
