Swann?s first sale of 2022 will explore the themes, motivations and artists that defined the New Deal era as part of the many agencies that formed during that period. Lithographs, mural studies, photographs, posters, publications and more were all the product of a movement that employed thousands of diverse artists and provided training and opportunity during a time when it was most needed.
