Bidding opens Saturday, 4/16 at 7pm EDT Bidding starts to close at 11am EDT on Saturday 4/23 REGISTRATION You must be registered with LiveAuctioneers before bidding. BIDDING There are two ways to bid: A. Absentee Bidding during Auction Preview: Dates: 4/16 7pm EDT through 4/23 11am EDT. You can place absentee bids in advance of the live auction. Our hassle-free absentee bidding system ensures you get the best prices. Be sure to submit your maximum bid amount before the live auction begins. Your bid stays at the lowest minimum amount required to keep you in the lead and increases (up to your max amount) only if another bidder places a competing bid. Absentee bids also double as registration requests if you are not already approved. It is best to register early, as we may require additional information from you. Once your registration is approved, any absentee bids you may have placed will be active. We try to approve registrations within 24 hours. B. Live Bidding on Auction Day: Date & Time: 4/23 starting at 11am EDT Be sure to take note of the auctions live bidding start time. This is when live bidding begins, starting with the first lot in the auction. Your chances of winning are three times greater when you bid during the live auction. Live auctions begin at the time indicated above and on catalog and item pages. To bid live, simply visit the catalog or item at the indicated auction time, and click Enter Live Auction. You will be taken to the bidding console where the live auction is taking place. You will be automatically notified when you win an item. Following the sale, you will be able to plan for picking up and shipping lots (shipping limited to designated lots, see item descriptions) and you will be invoiced for your item. It is important to review all shipping and payment policies before you bid on lots to avoid any surprises. Mobile alerts also notify you when your item is coming up for auction so you never miss an important bid! PAYMENTS Buyers Premium: Buyers will be charged an 18% buyer's premium. We accept all major credit cards. You must have a credit card on file with LiveAuctioneers. Payment is made with the credit card on file at the time of registration. Your credit card information on LiveAuctioneers is never shared. Payment must be made before scheduled pick-up. There is a 3% credit card fee and $0.25 transaction fee on all credit card transactions. These fees are not greater than our cost of credit card processing. Winning bidders will receive an invoice within 24-48 hours from the close of the auction. The invoice is due upon receipt; if payment has not been made within 72 hours of invoice receipt, we will charge the credit card on file for the total amount listed on the invoice. Sales tax will be charged to residents of North Carolina and certain other states as required by law. Buyers whose purchases are exempt from sale tax must present a valid and current sale tax resale certificate or other exemption approval at the time of registration. Tax-exempt bidders can easily upload their resale certificates directly to their LiveAuctioneers accounts. See Account Settings of your account for additional details. PICK UP All Local Pick-ups Must Be Scheduled Online through the Sign-up Genius. Your invoice will have a link to the Sign-up Genius. Pick-Up Date: Thursday, April 28th, 2022 Pick-Up Address: Raleigh, NC 27608. The FULL ADDRESS for winning bidders will be disclosed when you sign up for a pick-up time via the Sign-Up Genius. If you arrive before your scheduled appointment, you will be asked to return on your specified pick-up time. Access to the property is time-limited post-auction. Lots not picked up by April 28th at 5pm will be considered abandoned and disposed of as we see fit. The Buyer is responsible for the packing and loading of all purchased lots. SHIPPING Shipping is available at Buyers' expense on selected smaller lots (see item description for shipping options, if any). There is a $6.00 handling charge per package shipped. We do not ship furniture and other large objects or very delicate lots. These lots will need to be picked up. CONDITION Magnolia Estate Sales and Auctions has endeavored to accurately describe each item. All lots are sold as-is and where-is with no warranty intended or implied and all sales are final - no refunds or returns. Condition Statements, where provided, are for information only and do not purport to provide an accurate representation of the lot. The lack of a Condition Statement for a lot does not mean the lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear or imperfections. It is solely the Buyers responsibility to read all descriptions, examine all photos, and ask questions as necessary to accurately assess the condition of each item prior to purchasing it. Item sizes and weights: We make our best effort to provide relevant and accurate dimensions on selected lots. Silver: When weighing sterling silver flatware sets, knives are not included in the weight as the blades are stainless. Jewelry: Unless otherwise stated, all stones have been measured and graded in their settings. Metal weight given for jewelry includes stones unless stated otherwise. Buyers are reminded that many colored gemstones have historically been treated to enhance their appearance. Clocks and watches: There is no warranty that any clock or watch is in working order. Virtually all clocks and watches have been repaired in the course of their lifetime and may include parts not original to them. As with all lots in the sale, there is no guarantee of any kind.
