Hindman is pleased to present the Spring Prints & Multiples auction on May 12, 2022. The sale comprises a strong session of Modern and Contemporary Master prints from Jasper Johns and Andy Warhol to David Hockney and Frank Stella. Also of note are works by Robert Motherwell, Helen Frankenthaler, Jackson Pollock, Louise Nevelson, Francis Bacon, Alex Katz and Roy Lichtenstein. The Modern session includes monoprints by Milton Avery, a small selection of vintage posters, as well as works by Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso, and Joan Miro. The photography session includes lifetime enlargement print of the seminal photograph, Migrant Mother, Nipomo, California by Dorothea Lange. The sale includes property from the Estate of Richard Altermann, Santa Fe, New Mexico, The JFM Foundation Collection, Denver, Colorado, and The Estate of Leona Chanin.
