Doyle is pleased to announce the second annual Stage & Screen auction on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10am. Following the success of the inaugural Stage & Screen auction in Spring 2021, the upcoming sale chronicles the diverse history of the performing arts celebrating Film, Theater, Dance and Opera. Among the highlights are original costume designs for Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Judy Garland by the inimitable Edith Head; Al Hirschfeld's dramatic drawing depicting Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in Private Lives; an enigmatic drawing by Cecil Beaton of Mata Hari; Aaron Copland's musical manuscript for Steinbeck's The Red Pony; a painted screen by Arbit Blatas based on the 1954 New York production of The Threepenny Opera; items signed by Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Gregory Peck, Ethel Barrymore and George Harrison.
