All bidders and buyers should present satisfactory documentation prior to approving this auction. 1. All property is sold as is and Star Auctions makes no warranties or representations or guarantees of any nature with respect to the property, and in no event shall they be responsible for the correctness of the property, nor shall they be deemed to make any representation or warranty as to the description, authenticity, authorship, provenance, period, culture, source, origin or condition of the property, and any representation at the sale site, bill of sale, invoice catalog or otherwise are not deemed to assume such warranty or liability. Our prospective buyers examine those lots in which they are interested. 2. 2. In the rare event that an item does not fit the description of the lot at auction, Star Auctions will provide assistance. As long as you notify Star Auctions within 3 days of receiving the item, the buyer can return the item for a full refund. 3. Star Auctions will contact the winning bidder with shipping information at the end of the auction. Buyer pays shipping costs as described in the auction description, as well as any applicable taxes, duties or fees for items from outside of the buyer's home country. For buyers outside of mainland China, the Star Auctions team will provide global shipping services upon request. 4. Except as provided in paragraph 1 above, the highest bidder, as determined by Star Auctions, is the Buyer. In the event of a disputed bid, the auctioneer will determine the purchaser at his sole discretion and may choose to withdraw the lot or re-sell the lot. The auctioneer has the sole discretion to reject any bid, or to refuse to acknowledge any bidder. 5. All purchases are to be paid directly to Star Auctions and payment must be made upon receipt of an invoice. Invoices will be sent the day after the auction. All items must be removed from Star Auctions within fourteen (14) business days of the end of the auction and under no circumstances will Star Auctions be liable for any loss of property left on its premises more than fourteen (14) business days after the end of the auction. If any property is not removed within fourteen business days of the sale date, at Star Auctions' option, (a) the item may be transferred and stored in a bonded warehouse and Buyer agrees to pay all transfer and storage costs, and/or (b) Star Auctions may sell the item at a subsequent auction to the highest bidder without reserve, less the standard commission and any additional charges that may apply, and remit the proceeds to the Buyer. 6. Acceptable methods of payment are Paypal, VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover in US dollars. Invoices must be paid in full and Star Auctions reserves the right to hold purchases until funds are cleared. 7. If Buyer breaches any of its obligations under these Conditions of Sale, including its obligation to pay in full the purchase price of all items for which it is the highest successful bidder, Star Auctions may exercise all rights and remedies provided by law, including, but not limited to, (a) canceling the sale and applying any monies paid by Buyer to compensate Buyer for damages caused? and/or (b) offering at public auction without reservation any lot or item for which Buyer is in breach of any of its obligations, including the obligation to pay the purchase price in full, and holding Buyer liable for any deficiencies and all costs of sale. 8. Star Auctions may, at its sole discretion and at Buyer's request, pack and arrange for delivery in accordance with Buyer's instructions. In such event, Buyer agrees that (a) all such packing, handling and delivery shall be entirely at Buyer's risk and Star Auctions shall not be liable for any loss or damage to such items; and (b) Buyer shall pay in advance all packing costs, including labor, materials, carrier's fees and all insurance costs. Please arrange for pickup and delivery seventy-two hours in advance. Star Auctions is not responsible for obtaining any permits or licenses on behalf of Buyer, and no sale will be cancelled or refunded due to Buyer's failure to comply with permit and license issues. Star Auctions will not cancel sales due to shipping issues. 9. A premium equal to 25% of the final bid price will be applied to each item sold and paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price. 10. A bid on any item indicates your acceptance of these terms and all other terms printed, posted and published in the auction. 11. All sales are final and no refunds are allowed. 12. When you win an item, we will send you an invoice. If you have a credit card on file with LiveAuctioneers, the balance will be charged to that card 72 hours after the invoice is sent.
