Though we try to fully divulge all known issues, it is up to the buyer to fully examine each item. All property is sold in "as is" condition and all sales are final. Bidding Bartons Auction has the right to require any of the following in order to bid, a. Photo ID; b. credit card; c. a monetary deposit (fully refunded upon completion of auction in the event that you are not a winning bidder). As a registered bidder, you understand that your bid is final. Any bid that is submitted can be the final purchase price bid and you, the bidder, will be responsible for the hammer price plus buyers premium (20% in house / 25% online) and any other taxes, or costs incurred by shipping, including insurance, export licenses and handling costs. Your bid is legally binding agreement to purchase the lot and payment is expected immediately following your receipt of a proper invoice. ALL SALES ARE FINAL The auctioneer has the right on behalf of Bartons Auction to determine the winning bidder and reject any bid offered, without explanation. The judgement of the auctioneer is final. As Announced Payment : A winning bid will result in you paying The Hammer Price + Buyers Premium (25%) + Applicable Sales Tax + Applicable Credit Cart Convenience Fees + any fees incurred for storage. Accepted sources of payment are: Credit Card - Through the LiveAuctioneers Invoice (This will include an additional convenience surcharge of approximately 3%). Bank Wire Cash Bank/Personal Check The purchaser agrees to pay Bartons Auction a handling charge of $35 for any check returned for insufficient funds. All personal checks and bank wires will need to clear before goods can be picked up. Any other source of payment must be approved by Bartons Auction Pickup/Shipping All pickups must be scheduled and arranged at the conclusion of the auction. The buyer/ shipper is responsible for safely removing and packing all purchased items. You will be able to schedule your pickup through a direct link on your invoice. If using a shipper, please have their name and phone number. We will be open for pickup Monday-Saturday two two weeks after the auction and then by appointment only. We can arrange for weekend pickups and night pickups on a case by case basis. Storage Any items not picked up after 30 days will incur a storage fee of 5$ per lot per week. This fee must then be paid before a pickup is arranged. Any items not collected after 60 days will be considered abandoned and sold in order to recoup all storage and handling costs. Export Licenses It is the responsibility of the bidder to inquire and research whether any item being bid on or purchased needs any form of import, export or endangered species license or permit. Prior to bidding, prospective buyers considering export of purchased lots should familiarize themselves with relevant export and import regulations of the countries concerned. It is solely the buyer's responsibility to comply with these laws and to obtain any necessary export, import and endangered species licenses or permits. Failure to obtain a license or permit or delay in so doing will not justify the cancellation of the sale or any delay in making full payment for the lot.
