Clars Auction Gallery September 11 Auction

Our Sensational September sale will be highlighted with strong showings in all departments across the board. In our Fine Art department we have works from Old Masters through Contemporary including works by Man Ray, Jean Dubuffet, Bernard Cathelin, and Aaron Siskind just to name a few. Our Decorative Arts is highlighted by a David Anderson for Shreve & Co. table service in the "Viking" pattern. Not to be overlooked is a Gold Quartz presentation walking stick dated 1856. There are porcelain offerings by St. Cloud, Sevres, Royal Vienna, etc. There is also hammered metal offerings by makers Dirk Van Erp and Jarvie. The Vehicle division is offering a rare 1933 Ace Continental, only one of 120 ever produced. Our Asian department is offering a fine selection of Japanese carved ivories and inro, as well as a fine pair of Chinese carved ivory wrist rests, just to name a few. Rounding out the sale is a spectacular selection of fine jewelry and time pieces.
