Terms & Conditions
PAYMENT: Full payments, including the 17.5% buyers premium, should be received within 10 days of the sale conclusion. Payment can be made with checks, bank checks, cash, and VISA or MasterCard. Credit card information should include: 1) the card holder's name; 2) the 16 digit card number and the carrier (MasterCard or Visa); 3)the expire date; and 4) the three digit security code on the back of the card. This must be received via email (email@example.com), phone call (610-722-9004) or letter ("Gordon Converse & Co.", 758 Mancill Rd, Wayne, PA 19087)after the sale conclusion. We reserve the right to clear checks before property is removed from the salesroom.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES: WE DO NOT PACK AND SHIP OURSELVES, although under some conditions we can arrange to deliver items. ALL TRANSACTIONS ABOUT SHIPPING ARE BETWEEN THE SHIPPER OF YOUR CHOICE OR OUR RECOMMENDED UPS SHIPPER AND YOU, THE BUYER. Regardless of how you have your items shipped, you need to notify us in writing of your pack and ship plans when making your payment. If you wish to use our recommended shipper, we will contact them with your pertinent information and they will contact you directly after payments are received; if you designate your own shipper we do not contact them. Failure to either designate a shipper or have us notify our recommended shipper within three weeks after payment is received will have your items removed to storage incurring a storage charge.
OUR RECOMMENDED SHIPPER: Is the UPS Store in Wayne, PA. If you request our store to pack & ship, you will receive a packing and shipping estimate after payment is made for the purchase and the store notified. They quote a pack & ship cost with a 20% discount on the packing. After your approval and payment, they will pick the items up here and pack and send them onto you. Write an email to "firstname.lastname@example.org" giving the lot number, etc prior to the sale if you'd like a quote on shipping cost prior to the sale. If you wish to pick your items up you may do so Monday and Tuesday, November 21 and 22nd between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM at 758 Mancill Rd., Wayne, PA 19087. An advance phone call is recommended: 610-722-9004. If you arrange for a shipper service they must notify us directly several days in advance so we can arrange for their arrival. We are not responsible for anything that remains here for more than 10 days after the sale and storage charges might be owed before they can be picked up.
