The sale kicks off with a plethora of jades and jadeite in various forms, including imperial productions. From a pair of carved celadon jade boy figures to the masterful, intricately carved white jade and jadeite censers, the highlights of this sale are numerous. A prolific assortment of Chinese ceramics follow the jades of this session. Offerings include a Qianlong period blue and white zun vase, a Guangxu period famille rose plate featuring Buddhist symbols, and a blue and white garlic-mouth vase decorated with bands of ruyi, original to the Daoguang period.
