Day 2 - Fine Asian Works of Art

California Asian Art Auction Gallery's Fine Asian Works of Art auction on March 25-26, 2022 will present three sales, the first day on March 25 will feature the Important Asian Works of Art sale and Important Chinese paintings sale; on March 26 will feature Fine Asian Works of Art. The highlights of these sales include important Chinese works of art from the Grayson estate, notably, a possible Tang Dynasty wall fragment painting from Mogao cave in Dunhuang, Gansu; a pair of Qing dynasty massive yellow glaze; mythical beast' tiles with Imperial workshop marks, possibly removed from the Summer Palace, Beijing; and large white jade ruyi scepter from Mid-Qing Dynasty; important Chinese calligraphy album from calligrapher Yu Youren; fine Chinese modern paintings from masters including Huang Binhong, Fu Baoshi, Zhang Daqian from various collections in the U.S.
