February Rug, Fine Art, and Book Set Auction
Welcome to our February Rug, Fine Art, Book Set, Jewelry and Asian Art Auction. Just remember a few things about The Rug Life. Unlike other Auction Houses; We are new amongst the older, traditional auction houses. We have a small bidder base. Because of that, you can leave an initial bid, not pay any attention to it, and you will likely win that auction for that item. This might change in the future. But for now, you can bid on an item and expect to win it with that initial bid. WE ARE FAST ON DELIVERY! Once you pay, we will likely package your item that day and deliver it to UPS, unless otherwise specified. The only delay might occur if we have to wash and dry your rug. But once dried, your rug will be packaged and brought to UPS, unless you request another shipper like FEDEX or USPS. ? We charge a flat fee to package and deliver your Item to one of several shippers. This saves you the hassle of arranging all of that, but it also saves you a pickup charge, and a packaging charge. We charge a flat fee $20.00. If it is a singular book or small item, it might be $10.00. This charge is always added into your invoice, after the auction closes. You are responsible to pay for your own shipping charges and insurance. If you are shipping art work or jewelry, we HIGHLY recommend that you insure these items. We wash the rugs before we ship them to you. This will save you hundreds of dollars, as well as time and hassle. Other auction houses get rugs from consignors and don?t clean them before they are sent to you. You must then arrange for the cleaning of that rug. With the Rug Life, you can open your package and start enjoying your rug immediately! With large rugs, we take 5 - 10 photos of each rug. This way, you can get an accurate look at the rug. We also take pictures of the backside (with a ruler) so that you can get an idea of the knot count, known as the KPSI or knots per square inch. These pictures are always part of the description. We strive to acqui
