Clarke will begin the fall season with a strong and varied multi-estate auction. Decorative arts are highlighted by a Tiffany studios candlestick and picture frame, a Handel lamp, Napoleonic porcelain pedestals, a Sevres lidded urn and a Sevres urn as a lamp, a Meissen Pate Sur Pate vase, Dredsen & Limoges, a Caldwell clock and sconces, clocks by Gubelin Lucerne and Tiffany, several clock garniture sets, a pair of large Goldsheider Orientalist terracotta figures, Sterling including: Tiffany, Georg Jensen, Holder, Rasmussen & Co, S. A 19th century Continental gilt bronze mounted etagere, a pair of 19th century stone carved chairs, a 19th century bronze mounted cabinet, a 19th century English linen press, and a Victorian marquetry inlaid cabinet are just a few of the period antiques pieces in this sale.
Midcentury modern lots feature pieces by Aldo Tura, Paul McCobb, Paul Evans, Dunbar, Arthur Court, Harvey Probber, Angelo Lelli Arrecoluce, as well an numerous unidentified midcentury and Danish modern furniture.
