Auction 7 - Paintings, Prints, and Drawings

Auction 7 - our first summer auction to date - brings together paintings, prints, and drawings from the collection of two Chicago amateurs, along with works from four New York collectors. A handful of Japanese prints lead us into sections of European prints, followed by American prints, and contemporary works on paper. The bulk of this session is however made up of paintings, mostly on canvas, many by Scandinavian artists. Some of these are handsomely framed, some will need a collector's touch to give them their ultimate character. Many low starting bids will give everyone the opportunity to take home a trophy. If you wish to spurge an early painting by Theodore Wores, an intimist interior by Edouard Cortes, or a famous print by Gustave Baumann might be for you. Happy hunting!
